Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has been awarded a modification contract for the operation and support of US Air Force (USAF) E-11A aircraft.
The $20.65m modification contract is an extension to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a four-month extension to support the aircraft.

The E-11A, serial number 1-900, has been modified to carry the battlefield airborne communications node (BACN) payload.
