The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.33% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 16.2% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.1% over the last three-month average share.

Boeing posted 35 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 40% over the previous month, followed by QinetiQ Group with 23 jobs and a flat growth. Thales with 9 IT jobs and M.C. Dean with 1 jobs, recorded a 30.77% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Navantia Australia recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.01%, up by 91.67% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.51% share, registered a decline of 4.17% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.48% share, flat growth over September 2022.
