The US Air Force (USAF) will support CSRA's global intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) mission through a $61m contract.
During the contract, CSRA will be able to continue offering its support to the US Department of Defense (DoD) and the USAF on the critically important ISR-enabling capability.
CSRA Defense Group executive vice-president and head Ken Deutsch said: “We’re proud to continue this legacy and ensure their mission is completed with excellence and superior technology.”
As part of the deal, CSRA will offer engineering and systems integration, while it will also give operational scheduling services and solutions, budget, and resources support to the USAF Headquarters ISR Deputy Chief of Staff, as well as the Air Combat Command Directorate of Plans and Programmes.
The period of performance for this effort, known as FIRE, is five years and will be carried out at the Pentagon, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB), two other Continental US locations, and two overseas locations.
In August last year, the company secured an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the USAF to provide it with logistics integration and weapon systems logistics network support.
