Airbus DS Electronics and Border Security (EBS) has expanded its Counter-UAV product range with the introduction of a portable jamming system.

The system is capable of detecting illicit intrusions of small drones over critical areas and it offers electronic countermeasures, therefore minimising the risk of collateral damage.

By using radars, optical and other sensors, the system will be able to detect and identify the drone and assess its threat potential at ranges from a few hundred metres up to several kilometres depending on the type of drone.
