AQYR Technologies has secured a $100m indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity production contract to provide global broadcast service (GBS) rucksack portable receive suites (AN/PRS-12) and suitcase portable receive suites (AN/PRS-11).
Under the contract, the company will also be responsible for providing spares, training, support and engineering services to the Air Force and other branches of the US military.
The contract is the result of a small business innovation research (SBIR) initially granted by the Air Force Research Laboratories.
AQYR president Laura Dion said: "The award is the culmination of a decade long partnership, working side by side with the warfighter and the GBS Joint Programme Office.
"It is a SBIR success for all involved."
At the time of the award, an initial funding of $13.95m was secured from the contracting activity, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
