Croatia’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) has evaluated proposals received for the country’s multi-role combat aircraft procurement programme.

A feasibility study was also conducted to help make a decision on the acquisition of a modern fighter aircraft.

The procurement decision, which was delayed for 15 years, will help the country retain its ability to control and defend the national airspace.

A total of four proposals were received from the Hellenic Republic, the State of Israel, the Kingdom of Sweden, and the US in October.

The proposals involve high-tech solutions, transfer of knowledge, and experience supporting the development of short-supply industrial solutions related to the procurement of aircraft.
