KBR Inc has secured a contract worth $32.3m to support the US Air Force’s (USAF) Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) programme, which is aimed at improving operational capability and efficiency of the air and space systems.

Under the 54-month contract, KBR will provide systems engineering services to support the prototype development and integration of air, intelligence, space and missile defence capabilities.

The US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has awarded Agile Cyber Technology 2 (ACT2) contract worth $950m to five companies.

Under the deal, the contractors will support research, development, demonstration, prototyping and evaluation of agile cyber technologies.

L-3 Vertex Aerospace Communication has secured a $30m contract to provide contractor logistics support to C-12 Huron military aircraft fleet operated by the USAF.

The contract is a modification to the previous contract awarded by the USAF Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Tinker Air Force Base.

The contractual work will be performed at multiple locations across the world.

Abaco Systems has been contracted by the USAF to supply products for the next-generation radar system of a fourth-generation fighter aircraft.

Under the deal, the contractor will supply board sets, including an SBC347D 3U VPX single-board computer, VP780 FPGA Card, and FMC140 FPGA Mezzanine Card for the radar system.

The radar system will be installed in the nose cone of the fourth-generation fighter jet.

Vectrus Systems Corporation has been awarded a contract worth $15.8m to provide base operations support services at the Keesler Air Force Base.

The contract is a modification to the previous contract awarded by the US 81st Contracting Squadron, Keesler Air Force Base (AFB).

The contractual work will be performed at Keesler AFB, Mississippi, US, through May 2019.
