
Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) has been awarded a $49.9m task order contract by the US Air Force Research Labs to provide intelligence gathering and analysis software for improving situational awareness.
Under the contract, ISS will expand its support of US Central Command’s (CENTCOM) intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations around the world.
The company will also provide web-enabled temporal analysis system (WebTAS) software to determine and improve mission situational awareness during ISR mission planning and execution.
A cloud-based system will also be created to integrate and share intelligence information in support of strategic air force projects.
The one-year contract has been awarded under the existing $500m programme, which was awarded in 2009.
