Brazil Air Force’s Aeronautics Command is set to receive the protocol for the datalink system – Link BR2 from Embraer to run its operations with a modern data exchange system.

The protocol will make LinkBR2 operational enabling the air force to interoperate with the Brazilian army and navy on joint missions.

Embraer executive vice president Orlando José Ferreira Neto, said that this was a very important project for the Aeronautics Command.

“This will equip the FAB with a top-quality datalink protocol, which is on the same level as the most modern datalink systems in the world,” Neto said.

This product concludes the 2006 Embraer contract with the Aeronautic Command and the Committee for Implementing the Airspace Control System for the data exchange system.
