AgustaWestland North America has offered its HH-71 aircraft for the US Air Force’s critical combat search and rescue missions.

The HH-71 aircraft has successfully completed 200,000 fleet hours during missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The HH-71’s low acoustic signature and all-weather capability will enable the warfighter to complete combat search and rescue missions with speed, security and safety.

Equipped with three engines, the HH-71 aircraft will provide aircrew with the assurance to complete missions safely under hostile warfare conditions.

The HH-71 will be able to transport 35 seated troops or 16 stretchers for medical evacuations with room for on-board treatment.
