US-based provider of technical information management solutions Flatiron Solutions has entered into a strategic alliance with Airbus to support the Royal Danish Air Force’s (RDAF) flight replacement programme.
The agreement will see the company support the Eurofighter Typhoon Danish Fighter Replacement Programme (DFRP).
The programme is aimed at the replacement of the RDAF’s F-16 fleet.
Under the terms of the agreement, Flatirons will provide new software designated as CORENA Suite, for the production and management of Danish Eurofighter Typhoon maintenance publications such as the airframe and engine manuals.
The software will facilitate the full content lifecycle management for mobile maintenance and technical operations of the aircraft.
Flatirons CEO Geoffrey Godet said: "Flatirons has enjoyed a productive relationship with Airbus Group through our work on defence helicopter programmes, and we are gratified to extend our partnership in support of the Eurofighter Typhoon entry for DFRP."
