GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business has agreed to provide support and services to aircraft, helicopters and multiple support systems for the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF).
The multi-million Euro agreement is initially valid for five years and comes with an option to extend the contract twice with a period of one year.

Fokker Services vice-president Paul Vorstermans said: “Fokker is proud to be selected for long-term total support of the RNLAF fleet.
"We recognise and appreciate the confidence that the RNLAF has demonstrated in our team and we look forward to further develop our relationship.
“This contract will enhance the position of Fokker in the military support market providing a total support solution for this specific group of parts.”
As part of the deal, Fokker will provide standard parts and additional services such as transportation, management of storage systems, forecasting and stock storage.
The aircraft covered under the deal are Apache, Chinook and Cougar helicopters, as well as the F-16, PC-7 and the KDC-10 tanker aircraft.
Work under the agreement will be delivered from the Fokker facility in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
Earlier in 2012, Fokker was selected by NHIndustries as standard parts provider for all NH90 helicopters worldwide.
It also serves as an integrated after-market service provider for Airbus, Boeing, Fokker and Bombardier aircraft.
With around 4,950 employees, Fokker Technologies operates facilities in the Netherlands, Romania, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, US, China, India and Singapore.
