Several human rights groups are calling on US-led coalition forces to take measures to prevent civilian deaths while conducting military operations in Syria.
Nearly 104 civilians, including women and children were killed in suspected coalition attacks on the Manbij area of northern Syria since June.
Figures released by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights show that 21 civilians were killed by the latest bombing by warplanes on the city of Manbij and its surroundings on 18 July and 15 more people were killed in the airstrikes in the northern outskirts of al-Hazwanah neighbourhood in Manbij city.
The bombing by the coalition in al-Tokhar village near the city killed six more people.
Amnesty International Middle East and North Africa programme interim deputy director Magdalena Mughrabi said: “The bombing of al-Tukhar may have resulted in the largest loss of civilian life by coalition operations in Syria.
“There must be a prompt, independent and transparent investigation to determine what happened, who was responsible, and how to avoid further needless loss of civilian life.

The National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces said that several civilians are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings in Manbij and al-Tukhar.
According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the US-led forces launched 11 strikes on 17 July and 18 strikes on 18 July against ISIS tactical units and fighting positions near the city.
The Syrian Coalition has condemned these attacks and is requesting the US put pressure on Russia to stop the massacres its forces are committing in Syria.
