Interior LED lighting

EMTEQ provides electrical/mechanical integration, LED interior and exterior lighting, ARINC and non-standard equipment mounting trays, wire harnesses, and RF and specialty designed cables.

EMTEQ's LED NVIS lights are lightweight, have an extremely low failure-rate and can be customized for almost any application, including pilot use.

EMTEQ designs and certifies exterior LED lights such as their 400 candela (cd) anti-collision light with customized adapter plate – many exterior lights are NVG friendly.

EMTEQ builds Mil-Spec wire harnesses with optional laser marking, overbraiding, databus and input wires, ring terminals, splices, solder sleeves, braided shields, shrink sleeving and placards.

EMTEQ designs, manufactures and certifies installation kits and assemblies for a variety of systems providing RF coax assemblies, trays and wiring. EMTEQ also designs and builds integrated pallet or box assemblies – a smart way to save valuable aircraft space.

Exterior LED lighting

EMTEQ designs LED exterior lights to meet RTCA-DO-160, MIL-STD-810, TSO/ETSO certification, and OEM specifications.

Systems include anti-collision, position/tail, wing-tip, and combination light assemblies. State-of-the-art optics and compact packaging allows for utilitarian designs that are easily customized.

NVG and NVIS LED lighting capabilities

Appropriate for military, EMS, law enforcement, search-and-rescue operations and other special missions, EMTEQ’s LED NVIS lighting meets MIL-L-85762, MIL-STD-3009 and DO-160 standards. Color availability includes NVIS green A and B, NVIS red and NVIS white. EMTEQ’s exterior lighting also offers NVG Friendly and IR (Infrared) covert modes.

A-kits and turnkey installation kits

EMTEQ’s expertise includes application engineered kits, A-kits, SILs (System Integration Labs), avionics upgrades and modifications for navigation, communication, surveillance, power supply and distribution, control systems and cabin/cockpit information systems per military and OEM specifications.

RF coax, Ethernet, and specialty cables

EMTEQ offers an extensive line of proprietary low-loss, lightweight aircraft-grade RF coaxial cables, databus, Ethernet, fiber optic, high performance and composite cables, designed with ease of installation, maintenance and superior electrical performance in mind. EMTEQ’s cables exceed FAA and OEM requirements for flammability, smoke and toxic-gas emissions.

Equipment mounting trays

EMTEQ offers a comprehensive line of ARINC 404/600 trays with designers to customize existing or develop non-standard configurations to meet RTCA-DO-160, military specifications and OEM requirements. Options include front hold-downs, rear guide pins, shock-vibration isolators and cooling fans. They also design and assemble box or pallet assemblies.

Metal machining and forming

EMTEQ is skilled in manufacturing machined and formed parts for a variety of fixed and rotor wing aircraft. Fabricated parts include: equipment trays; antenna doublers; support brackets and beam structures; custom formed sheet metal and extrusions components; and proprietary manufacturing including engine exhaust shrouds and aircraft improvement kits.

Testing capabilities, quality assurance and support

Testing capabilities include design substantiation, qualification testing, reports and analysis per OEM, FAA, RTCA-DO-160 and Mil-Spec standards.

EMTEQ’s global offices meet EN/JSIQ/AS9100:2004, ISO9100:2000, or EN9100:2003 quality standards and have FAA/EASA approved repair stations located in the United States and Europe.
