The German company MICCAVIONICS GmbH, located in Weil der Stadt, Baden-Württemberg, will provide the French Army with important software elements during the next years.
According to the recently signed contract (SIC-S), in which the French company Bull acts as prime contractor, MICCAVIONICS will be responsible for the development of command and control software for 8,000 terminals for the French ground forces. The new order is to be interpreted as a result of the positive experience with MICCAVIONICS software and hardware used by the French Air Force (ALAT).
Helicopter missions have been optimised significantly – increasing the success rate of operations, reducing their costs. In the future the company’s innovative information mission management and command and control system will also make an important contribution to the success of the ground troops’ operations.
