The permanent interaction with the customer´s requirements has inspired the team of Airborne Technologies to extend the functions of the Video Management Unit (VMU). Originally only developed to simplify the display of multiple views, the new Mission Management Unit (MMU) has now the ability to manage the whole Airborne ISR workflow on board and connects all systems like EO/IR gimbal, radar, data recorder, downlink and searchlight.
The latest achievement of Airborne Technologies is the VSU (Video Stabilizing Unit) that smoothes the video stream of ISR gimbals suffering from export restricted stabilization losses.
