Klein-Winternheim, Germany, and Edmonds, WA – March 29, 2021 – SYSGO, the European leader in real time operating systems (RTOS) and hypervisors for certifiable embedded systems, and wolfSSL, the leading provider of TLS and cryptography, continue to develop best-in-class security portfolios for critical embedded projects across the globe.

Pre-integration of the wolfSSL cryptographic library into SYSGO’s embedded Linux ELinOS product as well as the PikeOS real time operating system (RTOS) based on a separation kernel, has already enabled critical embedded industries such as avionics, railway, automotive and defense to have more secure software signing capabilities and the ability to build a root of trust into their systems.

Adding to an already robust security portfolio that includes wolfCrypt FIPS 140-2, DO-178C DAL A support, TLS 1.3, DTLS 1.2, secure boot, MISRA-C capabilities and more, wolfSSL has recently announced a new Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) product, wolfSentry. This is a dynamically configurable logic hub, arbitrarily associating user-defined events with user-defined actions, contextualized by connection attributes, tracking the evolution of the client-server relationship. Additionally, wolfSSL will be among the first to achieve FIPS 140-3 validation. PikeOS users benefit from these developments when they leverage the EAL 3+ certified PikeOS Separation Kernel with wolfSSL’s thoroughly tested, mature crypto libraries, including wolfMQTT for the POSIX partition type. wolfSSL and SYSGO are thrilled to offer customers high security assurance for the next generation of connected devices. Both companies have signed a contract to foster their relationship.
